Facility rules and regulations

You must be above the age of 18 (non-high school students) to be able to participate in our fields.
Before participation at any of our fields, you are required to complete a “Membership application & Safety Acknowledgement form,  age verification will also be done.
Note: Please provide personal identification with photo
・For ages 20 and above → “Membership application & Safety Acknowledgement form” will require acknowledgement and signature from the applicant.
・For ages 18 and above and under 20 → “Membership application & Safety Acknowledgement form” will require acknowledgement and signature from the applicant and guardian.
※For ages above 18 but under 20 without the signature of a guardian will not be allowed to participate.
※For ages 18, even with the signature and acknowledgement of a guardian, high school students will not be allowed to participate.

Leaving and entering the premises in full combat gear and weapon carry regulations

Entering and leaving our premises in full combat gear ( for the purpose of visiting nearby convenience stores, shopping , etc.), with weapons holstered or bearing arms with be refused entry to our premises.
Please enclose your weapons in a proper gun-case/bag, combat gear should also be kept in bags when entering our leaving our premises.
We ask for your cooperation in bringing up and up keeping the image of Survival game (Japanese Air-soft).

Consumption of alcohol prohibited

The participation of game or the use of shooting range whilst on influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited. We consider this a dangerous act. However, when all games are over and all weapons have been safely kept away, consumption of alcohol within the premises of the safety area is allowed.

Power regulations on the Air-soft guns & Regulations on usage

In accordance to the Swords and Firearms Control Law in Japan, all customers who intend to use their personal air-soft guns will be required to go through a muzzle velocity check.

  • For Open games , below 0.81J(20g 6mmBB pellets, below 90m/s)
    For Private reserved games, in compliance to the law(0.98J=0.20g 6mmBB pellets below 99m/s)or as mentioned before, below 0.81J is recommended.
  • Only 6mmBBs are allowed. 0.20g and below are allowed
  • Plastic BB pellets are allowed
  • Guns with external power sources are prohibited
  • CO2 gas cans are prohibited
  • In classification of [Airsoft guns] which are not in accordance to the law, whether electric guns, gas guns or air cocking guns will be prohibited on our premises
  • In classification of [Airsoft guns] which are not in accordance to the law, even with a muzzle velocity reduction adapter will not be allowed on premises
  • In classification of [Airsoft guns] which are within accordance of the law but over ASOBIBA regulations, will require a muzzle velocity reduction adapter before participation in all games.

All personal air-soft guns that are intended to be used in any games are required to be go through a muzzle velocity check by our staff.
Muzzle velocity reduction adapters will be removed during muzzle velocity test to test the initial velocity.
Only air-soft gun that have been checked and tested will be permitted for use in our games.
※We will provide BB pellets used for testing (0.20g)

Note 1: In consideration that temperature and type of BB pellets does affect the velocity. Especially when indoor games where the point of contact is close, please refrain from “borderline” settings.
Note 2: The use of MOSCART, grenade launchers have now been

prohibited. In view that we are unable to conduct proper muzzle velocity test on MOSCART and also for safety reasons of other player, it has now become prohibited. We apologize to our customers who have been using MOSCART till now.

Rental equipment

We provide rental of Air-soft guns, Face mask, Clothes (Top & bottom) and Gloves.

As our rental equipment is on a first come first serve basis, we do not accept reservations on rental equipment. There may be times where there are only specific camouflage patterns or limited stock available, we kindly ask for your understanding.※Rental guns includes battery and long capacity magazine.

For private reserved games

  • We only take confirmed reservation, we do not accept tentative reservations.
  • We do not accept cancellation within 1 month of the intended reservation, this is due to the fact that once we receive a reservation we will deny other reservation on that specified date.
  • You will be required to pay a Cancelation fee to a specified bank account within one week of the cancellation ((※The minimum amount requirement for private reserved games )Please make sure your team has come to a firm agreement before placing a reservation.

Accidents & Theft

We do not take responsibility for accidents, injuries, loss of items or stolen items within our premises.
To enjoy a safe and fun time, all players have to be responsible to each other, running recklessly in the field, taking off of your protective mask in the field, shooting your air-gun in the safety zone, even firing blanks in the safety zone are all considered dangerous acts and are prohibited.
Also please be responsible for your own belongings.

Smoking

Please only smoke in the designated areas.

Game Rules

  • Full-face protection is required, full face plastic protection is allowed.
    Wearing goggles only are prohibited. Lower face protection is also required. Goggles and lower face masks have to secured by at least elastic straps (as shown as our rental mask).
    However, cloth type / soft type lower face protection in prohibited, only plastic.
    Metal, hard materials will be allowed. Goggles should not have any spaces or gaps around the eyes and face. Only goggles with proper sealing and contact with the face are allowed. Shooting glasses or any other protection that reveals skin to damage are strictly prohibited.
  • Long sleeves, long pants
    As most contact are close quarters, Long sleeves and long pants are recommended
  • Semi-auto fire only
    Full-auto fire, rapid fire is not allowed. (Negotiable with private reserved games)
  • Ricochet are not considered hits
    Ricochet used to be considered hits however it’s is now considered safe in our fields. As Survival Game (Japanese Air-soft) is based on honor system, please take your hits, even when you are unsure if that hit was a ricochets
  • Blind fire / Blind shot Prohibited
    When a person fires a weapon from behind an object and does not reveal themself. While performing this, the person usually does not know where he is aiming and is thus shooting “blindly. Firing your weapon without looking at your target is prohibited and considered a dangerous act.
  • Friendly fire
    When you shoot a team mate by accident, the person who gets shot is “hit”, however the person who committed the act will be allowed to play on.
  • Every part of your body is considered a “hit”
    Every part of your body, this includes the gear that are wearing, your sleeves, hat, scarves, hood, footwear and also weapon, when shot are considered “hits”
  • Cheaters, zombies and vulgarities are prohibited
    [Not calling “hits”, playing on even when shot] [Belittling other playing with vulgarities during the game] are strictly prohibited. In event when you spot abusive players, please avoid confronting the player and contact the staff first.
  • Freeze call is allowed
    However, when a freeze call happens at the same time with both parties, both are considered “hit”
  • Use of grenades are allowed (excluding MOSKART)
    The use of grenades are allowed (not including MOSKART & grenade launchers). However please be extra care and responsible and use them safely. Grenades should not be “live” in safety areas (taking the pressure caps off & respective safety measures). Also please be considered to not hurt other players. Only underhand throws below the hip levels are allowed.
  • Laser sights
    The use of laser sights are prohibited
  • Knives (inclusive of dummy / imitation knives), sharp objects are prohibited
    No matter the material of the knife (rubber, plastics, etc.), knives on gear, bayonets are prohibited. This is inclusive of tools which are sharp in nature, box cutters, scissors, nippers, etc. are prohibited. We do provide rental of the above mentioned tools if required.
  • Dangerous items are prohibited
    The bringing and carrying of dangerous items whether with intentions to use or not is prohibited on our premises. Any items that may cause potential bodily harm or make other players feel uncomfortable are not allowed.
    Example) Customized battery charger, knives, police baton, stun guns, pepper spray, mace, self-defense weapons etc.

Game field matters to note

  • Not matter the situation, please do not ever remove your goggles when in-field.
  • Forcibly pushing of other players and full-force dashing is prohibited.
  • When exiting the field area, please ensure that your guns is set to “safe” .
  • Smoking, fire related activities, consumption of alcohol in-field is prohibited.

  • Shooting and blank firing within the designated safety areas are prohibited.
  • Please ensure that your gun is set on safety at all times when you are in the safety area.

In it’s true nature, Survival game (Japanese Air-soft), doesn’t have a good image as a sport in our current society. But because our love for the game and the people we have managed to meet through the game, we have managed to come so far with your support.
Our fields aims to maintain and continue our support for everyone who are in love with the game.
Therefore we seek your cooperation in this matter, please do not shout or cause nuisance, brandishing model guns or shooting in areas near our fields or even in public.
Anyone found in violation of the rules and regulations will be refused entry and not be allowed on our premises.

Odaiba Survival game field is open to ages 10 and above.
Elementary school students and ages below are required parental / guardian consent.
※Please take note that other ASOBIBA Fields are for ages 20 and above.

※Regulation changes history

  • 2014/07/02:Regulations on MOSKART, laser sights have been prohibited, the carry of dangerous items have been added.
  • 2014/09/01:Muzzle velocity regulations have been made 0.98J⇒0.81J(Recommended even for private Reserved games ). Muzzle velocity reduction adapters rental have been added.
  • 2014/11/11:In regards to the use of plastic BB pellets, bio BB pellets have been added to KANDA branch’s requirements.
  • 2014/12/30:In regards to age limit of uses, changes have been made to age limit and it’s relevant user policy.
  • 2015/02/15:CO2 gas cans have been prohibited, regulations on Cloth type face guards have been added.
  • 2015/04/05: KANDA BRANCH related regulations have been deleted. Long sleeves & long pants requirements have been changed from requirement⇒recommended. In regards to grenades, [Loading of BB pellets only in field] changed to [Grenades should not be “live” in safety areas (taking the pressure caps off & respective safety measures)]
